Finally @ home…

Had an extremely long and draggy meeting… From 10am – 12pm, continued from 2pm – 5pm and 5.30pm – 6.45pm. It was on next week’s stage 2. As we discussed, we realized there are additional test scenarios to try and more ‘possible problems’ that might arise, during stage 2. *sigh* My senior said: “Be prepared to do OT for the next 3 weeks, including weekends…” I was thinking… why not just bring camping gear over (eg. sleeping bags and stuff) and stay there from Mon – Fri. If we do so, we just might be able to complete it on time and i’ll still be able to go for my dental appointment. But seriously, who’s so ‘ON’ enough to sleep…

My last week of freedom…

Sigh… My last week of freedom & slacking. For next week… Official start of Stage 2 testing. It will be, 3 weeks of intensive system testing, weekends ‘burnt’ and loads of overtime. Not forgetting getting coop up in a freezing studio, for 3 weeks. And i would have to shift my dental appointment again… will i ever be able to get rid of my wisdom tEEth, this year? *ponders* Anyway… If everything goes well… Project wouldn’t be delay till coming Feb ’08 and i’ll be able to take my CNY leave, as usual. If not, i’ll cuss at our ‘beloved’ consultants and developers. Till now, it irks me to know that they are paid so much to produce such shitty…

Machine breaks man

TOKYO (AFP) – – A Japanese game maker said Wednesday it would withdraw arm-wrestling machines from arcades after three players — two of them foreigners — broke their arms. ADVERTISEMENT Players would choose a strength level from 10 characters, ranging from a maid to a professional wrestler, and face off with an artificial arm on the other side of the table. A 25-year-old South Korean man broke his right arm while playing the game in Osaka, while a 19-year-old Frenchman and 24-year-old Japanese man also suffered arm fractures, the company said. Atlus, a Tokyo-based arcade game maker, said it will remove the 155 machines of the game — called “Udedamashii,” which means Arms Spirits — which were put into service…
