Thoughts on MyGameMug

An old gaming friend, famously known as Swordplay, sent me something on msn…
All he typed – http://www.mygamemug.com/

I thought it was some online retail shop, selling specialized game mugs or other merchandise. So i clicked and was asked to do a short gaming personality test (which made me go ‘eh?!’).

Anyway, about 40 questions later…
They gave me the result…

“The Game Master
Deliberate Sociable Serious Veteran (DSSV)”

*roll eyes*
For someone who hasn’t really been playing much games, other than Facebook, it’s wierd to even get a result like this. I’m so not a GM material, heh.

Point:
Basically it’s a gaming network site that’ll link you to players who share the same interests, you’d click with and game well with.

Give it a shot, could be interesting.
I’m on it… just that i need to find a game i’ll be interested enough to sacrifice my sleep for.

Maybe for Diablo 3…
Side note:
Yes, so i was extremely wrong about the ’specialized gaming mug’ thingy.
Lol.

And thanks to Swordy, for the post material :P

Lost.

Try imagine having friends or couples who have been together for ages and waiting for them to send out the wedding invitations (or red letters)…

And all of a sudden, they break up…
Be it a mutual agreement, nasty argument or 3rd party…

You’d feel surprised, right?

That’s how i feel… plus feeling rather lost and sad.
Perhaps because they seemed like those who’d last till the end and being the hopeful or hopeless romantic, it would be nice to see them walking down the aisle together.

But that’s just me…
Still trying to believe there’s such thing as ‘happily ever after’ or at least a ‘love that will last till the end’… But now, i guess it’s time to just admit ‘happily ever after’ and ‘love that will last till the end’ is probably ‘near extinction’.

Ok…
Time to stop being moody over stuff that can’t be helped and being all random.

Back to feeling lost and stressed out, over work.
Busy Busy Busy…

[Rant] for something that’s worth 1000x my annual, this system SUX big time. [End]

Loving It, IPhone 3G.

As you guys know, it’s not out yet in Singapore…
But thanks to Blog2U for inviting us members to IShop by Club21, for a sneak peek…

I was finally able to MOLEST IPhone 3G 8G :)
Well, pardon me for going crazy over it, i didn’t get to try the first gen.

My thoughts:
- extremely responsive and quick processing time but doesn’t work for peeps with long fingernails :P
- picture quality seems decent, probably comparable to K750i but need to upload on PC / laptop to determine if pixel.
- website browsing with WIFI, fast with complete data but not flash or applets friendly, as tested on UOB / DBS ibank website… meaning, you can’t do internet banking.

That’s about all i have, since i only had about 5mins with it.
But i look forward to testing the local set, once it’s released in late August 2008.

Considering getting a set, but only if they release selling rights to Starhub :)

*****

And i was glad to meet some new faces, online friends i’ve been chatting for a while, in real life… E.g. Endoh, Malique, WishBoNe and ECL

(note: didn’t really get to say hi to WishBoNe & ECL, cos XinYun is shy and not sociable :X)

By the way…
Before we left, we handed over the IPhone to Paddy & DK
And they got a shock…

Thanks to…

our dear Malique on IPhone :D

Movies (Dark Knight & Red Cliff) and time spent

The above two movies need no introduction or summarized stories, as all the introduction and summaries can be found on Wikipedia. Just click on the following links if you are lazy to search with Google.

- Red Cliff
- Dark Knight (2008)

For someone like me, who enjoys comics…
It’s always fun to watch film makers make comics come to ‘life’ on the big screen, beats having to constantly flipping pages and waiting for new books to release.

Dark Knight
Worthy show for anyone who’s into the whole Batman series and enjoys actions, stunts and villains.
I wonder… if they’ll end it all in the next film or will there be more… hmmm…

Rate: 4/5

*****

As for Red Cliff
If you have never read or hear stories from Romance of the Three Kingdom, it would take a little bit more effort to grasp the plot. They (the film makers) has made this show pretty lighthearted, compared to all the war type movies i’ve watched.

Pretty long movie, about 2 – 2.5hours… great acting.
Well, i can’t wait to see what they do for part 2!

Rate: 4.5/5

And thanks to my movie kaki aka dear…
Even though we don’t get much time together but things we get to do together, never fails to make me smile :)

Quality over Quantity.
*Hugs dear*
