Event: Basic Photography @ Sony Digital Workshop

backdate to last Thursday
loads of photos post

Thanks to Darryl (on behalf of Blog2U), several of us headed down to Sony Style at Wisma Atria for a short course in Basic Photography and to try out the range of Sony Cybershot cameras.

The Sony T90 and T900 series.
black – T900
turquoise – T90

Kenneth was our lecturer / teacher for the evening…

pic source: Cris aka Young Businessman
Thanks to Kenneth, it was fun and interactive, not like those draggy lectures in school.

We learnt secrets on:
– shutter speed difference
– portrait taking tips and cam whoring tips
– how to take good food shots
and probably how much he love curved objects in photos… plus, helping us ‘saboh’ / ‘nominate’ Darryl, to be our photo test subject 🙂

Love the colors 🙂
T90 in turquoise colored (my favourite), thanks to Xing Hui (admin for the event).
So sad to have to return it after the event, boo hoo 😛

Extremely easy to use interface, clear and sharp pictures and loads of diff. preset scenes to choose from…
T9 seem to make me feel ashame of my F50fd… and i’m tempted to get a T90… 🙁

Here are some of the random photos i took during class:

Lastly, class photo!

By the way, if you are interested in taking up some photography course, do check out SDW website.
I’ll sign up for Digital SLR workshop when i get back, depending on work schedule >.<

Many thanks to Kenneth, Xing Hui and Darryl 🙂
