Photo: Riverside Sunset

ISO: 400
Exposure: 1/320 sec
Aperture: 8.0
Focal Length: 100mm
Flash Used: No

Kinda plain but still one of my favorite sunset, among the rest i’ve taken over the years.
Yes, weird to love sunsets but for someone who hardly gets to see sunrise and sunset while in Singapore, it never fails to remind me – beauty in simplest form, exist.

Aside to Ihsan:
Wondering if this fit what you commented in previous post, focusing purely on the sunset and no other distractions :)

Yup! I can see why this is one of you favorites! A photo with a clear subject catches the eye better, and is well liked by people regardless whether or not the person looking at the photo understands the basics of photography.

There’s still the ‘rule of thirds’ to be discussed in this photo, but I like it as it is so I don’t think you have to worry about the rule of thirds here.

Rule of thirds is a guide to composing shots and positioning your subject in the frame.
