Another packed week…

Arrived back in SG late last night… As unwillingly, i dragged my tired self to work and enjoyed the day with laughters 🙂 Probably it’s everyone’s willingness to be cheery made it possible. Although on a sad note, my ‘buddy’ would be leaving for another department. But it’s good to move on for better prospect and we’ll still see her on a regular basis and hopefully gatherings & lunches. And before that, a steamboat dinner cum drink night as her farewell. Happening tomorrow… And it hit me, i’ll be out for all the weeknights (excluding arriving back on Monday)… Another packed week, of gathering and socializing. Which aren’t bad, especially after knowing the next few months would be ‘hell’ mode…

Photo: Vintage Mandarin Records

Exposure: 1/50 sec Aperture: 1.8 Focal Length: 50mm Flash Used: No One of the few, hanging on the walls at the 1960s exhibition. Look at the record jacket, their appearance and hairstyles, as retro it may seem to us, it was the fashionable to our parents or grandparents in those days. The slim fit suits, fluffy shoulder dresses, huge spectacles and beehive hairstyles. It was all once popular and trendy, now some of our latest trends adopt those retro styles… excluding the beehive hairstyles 😛

Event: National Family Celebration 2010

It’s the finale for this year’s National Family Celebration campaign and it’s happening this weekend, at Bishan Park. Do bring your family along to join in and have fun. As cheesy and silly it may seem to be for many, sometimes we really need such events and campaigns to remind us to spend more time with family members. Esp. with so much projects to hand in, overtime to do and commitments to work and friends, we do tend to neglect our families and our bond with them. So, give them a little of your time. Spend a few hours with them, be it at this event or going for a movie or having a meal.

Travelling, always.

Travelling, yet again. Friends and colleagues have started to ask if my suitcase is always packed and ready for any last minute trips. They feel I should start working towards getting PR status and/or apartment, which my parents would love to (so would i), provided there’s a good job opportunity and DD is there with me. Heh. Anyway, suitcase packing record – 1.5hours 😛 Well in short, I’m leaving for Bangkok in a couple of hours’ time and will be back on Monday. Leave me a message or email and I’ll get back to you 🙂

Movie: Knight and Day (2010)

Secret agent, a girl and a mission. Not very complicated and probably just the usual plot. Agent on mission, meet cute girl, saves her, recover stuff and falls in love… yada yada yada… But strangely, it wasn’t… probably not way off but you’ll have to stick around to the end for who actually saves who. The lack of skin showing scenes and sexual contents in the film, makes it watchable for those with kids. Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, made a good looking couple and acting wise, decent. CGI, not much to pick on, too fast paced to pick on the details. But storyline / how the story progress… was pretty much predictable. Well at least it’ll keep you wondering…
