Decided a week back to go for a day trip to Johor Bahru, to pick up some photography magazines, chill and sight see…
Which we did this morning, got our tickets (immediate boarding for 0800hr KTMB ride) at Tanjong Pagar Railway Station.

Been years since i board one of KTMB’s trains. Last trip on it, was when i was around 8, on the night train to KL. Back to topic, though it lack in appearance and comfort (old trains), it did get us from point A (tanjong pagar station) to point B (jb station) pretty quickly, compared to driving up or taking a bus.
It only took an hour, inclusive of immigration checks and waiting time. But do note, it’s not an accurate gauge for traveling time, as arrival time differs, during school and public holidays.

Just some shots at the platforms.
I’ll update more on the trip later, had loads of fun and feeling exhausted from the whole trip…
And to end this for now…
Thanks DD, for suggesting that we try taking the train and getting the tickets
Xoxo.

I would like to bring my kiddos to “feel” the train too. Once I drop at JB, is eating places within walking distance? Any sightseeing tips (Danga bay?)
I have not taken train before.
If experience is good, might consider further trips
