At Mae Klong Railway market, before tonight’s stay at Amphawa, one of the most interesting places / sights i have encountered. It’s a good 1.5hr to 2hr private vehicle ride from Bangkok. A long ride for most but still, it’s packed with curious tourists (e.g mostly Hong Kong, China, Japan and etc) and daily grocery shoppers. Here are some of the photos, snapped by bf with his Nikon and my iPhone:
Shot this earlier with iPhone’s new panorama function (ios6). Didn’t get a salted egg-like sunrise but the color tones for sky and clouds came out pretty well. Guess waking up at 5+ am (BKK time) was rather worth it and the angle of my room too… 🙂 Shot from Novotel Platinum – room 2304.
Here are the photos, for my standard room and view from 23rd floor: Pretty decent for its price, around 90-120sgd for a night (what I paid for). A tad small but that’s normal for newer hotels these days. It provides the basic necessities and even an iron + board (one thing mom is glad about… shrugs). Less than 3mins walk to Platinum Mall and around 5mins to Central World Plaza. Good for shoppers / shopaholics :p And well, I’m always happy when there’s WIFI included. Heh. Next stop, Amphawa.
