It pretty much sums up what this red baby could do… but let me get into details, in a bit.
The Logitech UE Mobile Boombox, comes in several color combination, for you to choose from, as per screenshot below.
5 color combinations, to be exact.
And it is going for S$149.00, as listed on Apple Store and Logitech Singapore site.

I’m writing this while the Logitech UE Mobile Boombox is synced, playing my favorite tunes from Xperia P (which is my spare phone / media player).
Okay, back to topic.
Here are my Likes & Dislikes:
Likes:
- its color combination (refer to screenshot for other colors, i like this current red w/black and the green w/black combination)
- its comfortable rubber exterior
- simple controls ( – / sync / + )
- decent battery life, up to 10hours
- fast sync with gadgets, be it iPhone or Android or Tablet (does two gadgets sync to at the same time)
- clear sound and music, no overpowering bass (based on the songs i’m listening to)
- charges with microUSB and/or AC
Dislikes:
- the rubber exterior seemed to be just glued to it, wonder it’ll come off over time
- user will need to switch off then on, to check the battery life
- a tad pricey, for something so cute and portable
Well, all that said, I do like it.
It’s cute and portable, decent wireless music playing ability and decent sound quality from a non-audiophile consumer point of view.
A tad pricey but probably due to the multi-point AC / USB adapter.
In all, it’s a nice multi-use gadget to have around at home or at work.
