News: Dell Vostro 5460 – 14 inch of lightweight mobility.

Dell announced its latest – the Dell Vostro 5460, a 14-inch laptop to its current line-up of ultra-portable laptops.

“Dell’s Vostro line of laptops has always focused on delivering computing performance in a portable package, and today we are proud to bring that promise a step further,” said Deepak Wagh, general manager, Consumer and Small Business, Dell Singapore.

“The thin and ultra lightweight Dell Vostro 5460 offers users a much sought-after level of mobility, performance and support together with business-friendly features to enhance everyday productivity.”

Offering mobility and performance, measured a 18.33mm in thickness and weighing just 1.54kg, it’s good for value conscious consumers and professionals, for daily usage / study or work.

Missed the chance to see it up-close but based on fellow blog friends’ photos, the red model is quite the looker / eye catching.
As for the features and specifications, I do feel that it would be useful for those who need to work on-the-go, travel or need a decent laptop.

Too bad the Vostro wasn’t available early / last year when my aunt was in US for 2 months work exchange, it would have been a lighter and better choice.
But she’s happy with her Inspiron 14R from Walmart, so… no BBB temptation for now 😀
