Thoughts: Turning 30.

My formula for living is quite simple. I get up in the morning and I go to bed at night. In between, I occupy myself as best I can. – Cary Grant Half wish it is just turning 30 degree left or right, in terms of angle or coordinates… But no, heh. I’m turning 30 in a week’s time and feeling strangely at peace with the idea. No dread or unhappiness but acknowledging it’s part of life and a necessary phase. News: Sony Singapore Helps Improve Education in South Africa with Book Donation Drive

The Sony Group of Companies in Singapore is conducting its annual book donation drive from 5th August to 25th August 2013, to support education efforts in South Africa. Started in 2008 and now in its 6th year, the South Africa Mobile Library Project aims to enhance the lives of children through reading and members of the public are invited to help support this cause by donating new or second-hand English-language children’s books suitable for ages 6 to 12. Travel: Tenth / Last Day in Melbourne

Back in Singapore and at work, cleared a good deal of emails in one morning 🙂 Well, I’m missing Australia, its sights, food and weather already. Heh. After checking out on Saturday, we had a dessert lunch at a nearby cafe while waiting for airport shuttle. And here are the last batch of snapshots: Glad we chose Emirates for our return flight. Great service, entertainment (cleared / watched 3 movies), food and comfortable flight back… 🙂 I’m gonna make it a point to fly with Emirates next time, if the flight time is 4hrs or more and price is right.
