News: Sony and its Cyber-shot™ DSC-QX10 & DSC-QX100

Earlier this month, Sony announced a couple of interesting consumer products / gadgets, that got quite a handful of techies going “OMG / Shut up and take my money!”. And they are…. Cyber-shot™ DSC-QX10 and DSC-QX100 🙂 ***** The Cyber-shot™ DSC-QX10 and DSC-QX100 introduce a brand new concept in digital imaging. Turning your smartphone into a power-packed specialist camera they are the perfect partner for smartphones including the new Xperia™ Z1. It’s a dream come true for anyone who loves their smartphone, but wants the photo quality that only a dedicated camera can deliver (hmm, me). Photo: Sweet Treats from Krispy Kreme Singapore

Came across a coworker’s photo of their Krispy Kreme original glazed doughnuts… I was wondering if they were as lucky as the NUS peeps, who got theirs early from Krispy Kreme Singapore as pre-opening treats. Surprisingly, I was right 🙂 But I didn’t realized we would get a share of it too! Compared to the one I tried in KL a couple of years back, that one had a weird oil smell and taste. And thanks Christine, for being my photo model 🙂 ***** Krispy Kreme Singapore is / was doing a ‘sneak peek’ aka giveaway before…

Though what was portrayed might not be exactly as the history books… I feel it doesn’t over glorify or ill portray what the Vikings had done or their history but made it easier for viewers / audiences, like me, to understand it all. The show presented the beauty of  nature / mountainous scenes to audience and of course, how Vikings and various…

Photo: Whiskers-less Kitty

Met this furry boy near Red Hill MRT station while waiting for friends. Such a sweetie, very friendly and wasn’t that grouchy when I woke it. And I noticed after taking its photo, it didn’t really have any whiskers. Seemed to have been trimmed… As understood from cat lovers and online notes, those whiskers are of special usage, similar to rulers. For the furry ones, to gauge holes and weird areas, to help them see if they can fit through. So… to all out there, please take note and never attempt to cut or trim your cat’s or stray cats’ whiskers… 🙂
