Thanks DBS team for the event heads-up / invite, my parents (aka the oldbies), bf & other blogger friends enjoyed an outdoor screening of ‘The Dark Knight’ by the bay, with other members of the public.
DBS Movies by the Bay, as in my earlier post, is a free movie screening scheduled for every 3rd Fri and Sat of Oct / Nov / Dec, that everyone can attend.
And there are snacks, cakes, beers and goodies sold by social enterprises, as an opportunity to showcase their skills and goods. I tried the brownies ($5/small box) and satays ($7/10pieces), I liked them. Yummy… *happy tummy* 🙂
As for tomorrow night (19th Oct), Avatar, will be screened. So if you wanna watch it under the starry sky (I’m assuming good weather) with families, friends or strangers, head down around 6.30pm to 7pm (or earlier, if you prefer), find a spot and get comfy.
Here are some photos from earlier screening:
Though my bum felt a little numb from sitting too long on the warm pavement, it was a good experience and time spent with love ones.
Hopefully the grass / open field nearby will be ready for use in time and maybe the DBS team can shift the screening there, it would be more comfortable for most 🙂
Btw, there’s a photo of ‘Batman’, the other character (aside from ‘Joker’ above), which is not attached in this post. I’ll add it later, after some editing as a member of public is in it.
Thanks to Justin for sharing that and some of the shots 🙂
