Earlier this month, Sony announced two new products, built for high-quality audio and perfect for audio enthusiasts.
They are the Sony NWZ-F880 series Walkman® and the PHA-2 Portable Headphone Amplifier.
PHA-2 Portable Headphone Amplifier
The compact and durable PHA-2 Portable Headphone Amplifier is able to support playback of high-resolution audio formats of up to 192kHz/24bit, surpassing that of the PHA-1’s (96kHz/24bit) and hence offering an even more exceptional audio experience than previously made possible. The addition of a Digital-to-Analog Converter ensures superior sound playback and enjoyment when you play music from personal computers. It has a built-in rechargeable Lithium-ion battery that provides up to 17 hours of listening pleasure on analogue connection, and 6.5 hours on digital connection.
Some audiophiles i know, would be interested to try it out 🙂
The slim and compact NWZ-F880 series Walkman® ensures that you are listening music just as the artistes had intended you to, through the use of unique audio technologies and support for High-Resolution Audio. The Android 4.1-enabled music player boasts 35 hours of playback for MP3 tracks (up to 26 hours with High-Resolution Audio) and TRILUMINOS™ Display for Mobile for vivid, lifelike colours on a 10.2cm-large LCD touchscreen.
The NWZ-F880 Walkman is NFC-enabled, making it that much easier for people to share their music choices with others.
I wonder if I could cross share with my Xperia Z… Hmm.
The new NWZ-F880 series Walkman® and Portable Headphone Amplifier PHA-2 will be available from December 2013 onwards.
Retail pricing – TBC.
Likely in time as Christmas presents, for self or love ones 🙂
