Thoughts: of Linksys (Re)connect Event and Cups N Canvas

Linksys had been quiet for the past few months and they are now back, with more of their award winning products, for consumers and small business.

Held at Cups & Canvas, we chatted with the Linksys team and learnt of their plans for the upcoming months, the Smart Wi-Fi related apps and of course, the routers.

As shown in the photo, current range of Smart Wi-Fi routers, extender and adapters.

But of course, there is always a main focus or product…
And that would be on the Smart Wi-Fi EA6900, the upcoming additional to its range of Smart Wi-Fi routers.

Yup, the antennas are back 🙂

– Unique partial see-through design for antenna.

For some users (like me), having the antennas back, is great.
It might not make the router awesome on the aesthetic side but for us, it just makes it easier to gauge and optimize its performance than guessing 🙂

As for the EA6900, I’ll share more later when further details are available.

An interesting learning session on Linksys and we’ll definitely hear more from them in the coming months.
And I’ll share whenever there are latest product news available.

As for Cups N Canvas, it’s a cute and cozy cafe / art place along Selegie Road, slightly further down from Wilkie Edge.

Love the coffees and the guys tried their specialty, the sweet potato latte (forgot to take photos for the drinks).

– Vermillion Prawn Pasta, Blanc Bacon and Beef Burger.

I tried the Blanc Bacon Pasta and ended with their awwwwesome brownies, which was great comfort food for a Saturday 🙂
Nice place to relax, catch up with friends or pick up a new hobby (art courses).
