Thoughts: Frozen (2013)(Movie)

Planning something for the kids?
Why not consider an outing to the movie theaters, to catch the latest animated heartwarming comedy film, Frozen, by Disney?

Frozen, inspired by Andersen’s classic tale, ‘The Snow Queen’, is a story distinctly on its own—wonderfully emotional, with plenty of action, adventure, magic and unforgettable characters, as shared by Director Chris Buck.

“Elsa (later known as the Snow Queen), is born with the power to create ice and snow. A beautiful ability, but also extremely dangerous. Haunted by the moment her magic nearly killed her younger sister Anna, Elsa isolated herself, spending every waking minute trying to suppress her growing powers.

Anna, her younger sister, longs to reconnect with Elsa, as they were close during their childhood. But when Elsa accidentally unleashes a magical secret that locks the kingdom of Arendelle in an eternal winter, Anna embarks on a dangerous adventure to make things right. Armed with only her fearlessness, a never-give-up attitude and her faith in others, Anna is determined to save both her kingdom and her family.”

Thanks to Disney, we caught the preview and were entertained, warmed and tickled.

By Anna’s courage and determination, to find against all odds, to find and save her only family / sister, Elsa, the Snow Queen. While Elsa fought to control her power over the years, eventually lost to fear and restriction, let loose and embraced her powers. Kristoff and his crazy dog-like reindeer, met Anna and helped her along the way. Not forgetting, the silly talking snowman, Olaf, who kept the group going, saying the darnest things and making them see things differently.

A nice story that teaches courage, facing your fears, kinship, love in all forms and embracing life… everything that the kids and youngsters could learn from. Well, I hope I made it interesting enough and you curious enough to bring your kids to watch it 🙂

Catch it on the big screen / theaters on Thanksgiving Day, Thurs – 28 November 2013!

And to end this post, here’s a cute trailer of Olaf and Sven:

Heh. Carrot nose 😀
