The Singapore Kindness Movement rolled out a pop-up café where coffee is sold at a discounted price if your order is made with kindness.
The Kindness café aims to get the public carry out simple acts of graciousness in their daily lives. Customers will each get a fortune cookie with a kindness message on the embedded slip of paper and for the first 100 customers, they will also receive a complimentary bread from SKM’s partner Gardenia to go along with their coffee.
When you say ‘please’ after your order, you will get SGD1 off your coffee!
If you add a greeting at the start, that will be SGD2 off.
And if you are always nice to service crew, ending the order with a ‘thank you’, it’ll be SGD3 off in total!
The pop-up café was launched earlier on 26 May 2014 at Republic Polytechnic and the café will ‘pop-up’ at One Raffles Place, from 9 to 11 June 2014 (Monday to Wednesday) 11:30am to 2:30pm.
