Sony announced its latest USB portable charger for charging on the go!
The CP-B20 has a battery capacity of a whopping 20,000mAh, making it a reliable companion no matter how long you stay out or game.
Suitable for power sharing among family and friends while on trips together or for users who carry multiple devices (*points to self*) and are worried of running out of power, the aluminum-bodied CP-B20 is the perfect partner for all your charging needs.
Not only does it have the ability to charge your smartphone up to eight times, it also comes with a 4 LED indicator and four USB output ports with the ability to quickly replenish up to four USB chargeable devices simultaneously at the maximum fast-charging output of 6.9A. The CP-B20 can be easily charged via an AC adaptor and it utilises Sony’s Hybrid Gel Technology that allows it to retain more than 90 per cent of its capacity even after 1,000 charges.
And it comes pre-charged and ready for use, right out of the box!
As for color, pricing and availability, the new CP-B20 USB Portable Charger will be available in black and at a recommended retail price of S$149.00 from mid-August 2014 onwards.
1 word, awesome.
Think this will more than suffice for upcoming trips and share with the fiance or with parents… Provided I don’t finish the whole charge, heh!
And I think my fellow Ingress teammates will be interested, seeing that some of them ‘burn’ through at least 04 smaller capacity chargers in 1 full day of gaming 😀
Just one thing…
I wonder how long it might take to give it a full charge while using a rather un-conventional method, e.g. a solar panel > a battery source point > CP-B20 using USB cable. Doubt anyone can answer that for me, will need to get one to test.
