Here’s another to the list of events, for the young, old and families with loads of love for animals… 🙂
The National Geographic Channel (NGC) Free Pet Shop returns for its third edition with an increased number of partners, participating dog shelters and more dogs than ever.
Featuring more than 100 dogs for adoption, the event aims to advocate dog adoption and foster better man-canine relationship. Fringe activities and workshops will be available for both dog-owners and their pooches to enjoy, while shedding new light on dog ownership and the community surrounding it during the two full days event.

In addition to the flurry of activities to entertain; Subaru, presenting sponsor of NGC Free Pet Shop 2014 promises a spectacle of Singapore’s Largest Doggy Dish. For the first time since the debut of NGC Free Pet Shop, Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) will be expanding its public education efforts by spreading the message of ‘A Pet Is For Life’ on ground. Get valuable lessons and tips on Responsible Pet Ownership, all for free!

Be sure to catch the upcoming series, Cesar to the Rescue Asia, premiering on 8th October on NGC. Acclaimed dog whisperer Cesar Millan returns to rehabilitate dogs by working with their human owners and the community to understand the behaviors of dogs living in Asia’s densely populated cities.
Cesar to the Rescue Asia premieres on National Geographic Channel on 8th October, Wednesday, 9pm on StarHub TV Ch. 411 and SingTel mio TV Ch. 201.
