Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring adrenaline-pumping action, heartfelt emotion and plenty of humor, “Big Hero 6” is directed by Don Hall (“Winnie the Pooh”) and Chris Williams (“Bolt”), and produced by Roy Conli (“Tangled”).

With all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, “Big Hero 6” is an action packed comedy-adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada (voice of Ryan Potter), who learns to harness his genius—thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi (voice of Daniel Henney) and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tomago (voice of Jamie Chung), neatnik Wasabi (voice of Damon Wayans Jr.), chemistry whiz Honey Lemon (voice of Genesis Rodriguez) and fanboy Fred (voice of T.J. Miller).

When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion—a robot named Baymax (voice of Scott Adsit)—and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery.

I’ve caught the trailer months ago, re-watched it earlier and so looking forward to its premiere!

To have a modernized crime fighting team, using purely technology and not just gift of super power or something out of this world, it will seem more probable… And who knows, it might happen in the near future, a workable and highly functional robotic suit or team?

Been resisting the urge to just read the plot from Wikipedia, especially since it is by the creators of Wreck-IT Ralph and Frozen. Heh…
Do remember to catch it next week in the theatres!

Information and visual as kindly shared by Walt Disney Studios Singapore.

Update as on 13 Nov 2014:

Thoughts – Love the show 🙂

Disney movies have ways to trigger emotions from movie-goers and viewers, while adding some hidden message or two in its plot. Very family and personal movies. But don’t worry, no spoilers from me and please DO NOT read the Wikipedia page, until you have watched the movie.

The ending was quite open-ended, perhaps a potential 2nd or 3rd movie?

But do stay for the trailer after end credits.
It’s quite the ‘WTF’, random and funny trailer 🙂

And here’s a photo from the Baymax showcase at Bugis Junction.

I love this design, very festive 😀
