Personal: 2014, summarized.

Last day (or working day) of the year…

How has it been for you?
Good? Bad? Meh?

Some high and low points but ultimately, 2014 has been rather kind to me.

If I’d break it down by months, it’ll be as followed:

– Sunrise in BKK

Jan – Travel, Bangkok during its post riot and voting period.
Feb – Celebrating parents’ wedding anniversary, getting engaged and started gym membership ūüėÄ
Mar – Sad news for aviation, for our region, e.g. MH370 & MH17

– Sunrise and beach in Desaru

Apr – Travel, headed up to Desaru with fiance & his colleagues.
May – Enjoyed¬†Jeff Dunham’s performance at Star Vista.
Jun – Attended secondary school friend’s wedding, enjoyed¬†Bonfire 2014, by local and foreign talents, had a furry fun time with the kitties at The Cat Cafe Bugis, did a drive up to KL for a course and had awesome steak at The Beato Steakhouse.

– View from The Peak

Jul РPre-wedding shoot and wedding date, booked and checked.
Aug – Travel, birthday trip to HK and Macau with fiance &¬†brother and managed to catch the Studio Ghibli exhibition.¬†Yummy food tasting event and wedding banquet location, attended and decided¬†ūüėÄ
Sep – Attended (like finally) an iPhone launch event by SingTel and yummy food tasting event~

– Waiting for the sunrise in Batam

Oct – Another yummy food tasting event~
Nov РTravel, short vacation with sisters in Batam, blog on downtime / host switching and caught Big Hero 6 in cinema.
Dec – Needless to say, Christmas and New Year feasting and presents… mom had a bad fall and extra sad note, aviation incident which is still in process of search, rescue and retrieve – QZ8501.

I hope that 2015 will be extra kind and if possible, better or great for all…
Especially for those who have had a rough year of downs, e.g. work issues, lost someone important, illness and relationship matters.

Never cut a tree down in the wintertime. Never make a negative decision in the low time. Never make your most important decisions when you are in your worst moods. Wait. Be patient. The storm will pass. The spring will come.

To friends, family and acquaintances who had good things going for them (e.g. marriages, newborns, new career… etc), thanks for the year of memories and may 2015 be even better!

And lastly, sincere¬†thanks to brands and agencies, for sharing product information, review units, event invites and advertorials opportunities to keep this personal blog / site going. My apologies¬†if I didn’t manage to¬†share more or attend all but I’ll try to do so in the new year (and whenever not occupied by wedding plans) :X

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year, everyone!
