Ever stood in front of an electric floor fan and pretended to speak like a robot in your childhood years? (note: haha, yup i did that)
What about mirroring the movements of the oscillating fan in an attempt to beat the heat, as your family chided you for hogging the wind flow? (note: still occasionally do that :P)
This August, celebrate the nation’s golden jubilee with your family and loved ones, courtesy of KDK Fans and Capital Distributors (S) Pte Ltd. KDK has launched a nostalgia campaign titled “Treasured Moments”, aimed at honouring the nation and celebrating the joyous years of growing up with your family and loved ones in Singapore.
KDK will also be giving away exclusive invitations to the public and their families (up to 6 pax) for a private screening of the “1965” movie, an SG50 celebration film about Singapore’s growth from the racial riots. Participants will have to submit an entry of three photographs – each depicting your treasured moments with your family and loved ones – with captions and the year that the photograph was taken in order to generate a personalised Photo Journey on the KDK “Treasured Moments” microsite.
Participants can also share their personalised Photo Journeys on their Facebook accounts, the top 50 submissions will receive exclusive invitations for the private screening, which will take place at Shaw Theatres Lido on 11 August 2015.
Winning entries will be selected based on the emotional and nostalgic appeal of the photographs and captions. In addition, KDK has produced a short film titled “KDK Fan Talk – Treasured Moments” to showcase the timeless journey of love through the generations, and the ever-present winds of change. Produced by MM2 Entertainment, the same production house behind the “1965” movie, the video is a touching and heart-felt memento guaranteed to bring a tear to many.
