After visiting our friend at the hospital, we hurried down Chinatown, looking for food to fill our tummies.

Though we planned to have frog leg porridge, a soothing and simple dinner, we were enticed by the lovely BBQ meat smell and went in.

Another branch of 2D1N Korean BBQ, along the stretch of road, between Smith street to Jean Yip Loft. (can’t rmbr the bldg’s name)

$26nett for dinner buffet, inclusive of soft drinks.

A good place for dinner gatherings and pigging out but be warned, you’d smell like a walking BBQ-ed meat later :p

2nd lo hei and lunch, at Soup Restaurant.

Yummy food and good service, worth the waiting time (for dishes to be served) and $. And thanks to boss, for the treat

I would dine there again next year, with family / friends for festivities.

Just had my first lo hei for 2012, yusheng from the zi char store near home.

And since it’s the 7th day of LNY, it’s known as 人日 or human day for all Chinese. Which also means, a birth day for Chinese and other believers.

So, happy birthday to all and a good year ahead!

A new shopping mall, with an airport terminal theme, at Asok station (Bangkok).

Each level represents a different location, eg. Tokyo and San Francisco. Similar range of shops to most malls but provides free wifi for shoppers, registration at the customer counter.

As for lunch, I’m now at Baan-Ying Cafe&Meal, with my spicy seafood and basil, alone

Satisfied a slight craving with overkill. Too much roes and lack in appetite.

But nevertheless, a good meal to end the work week
