Food: Dinner @ Gurney Drive

Nope, we didn’t drive all the way to George Town, Penang for dinner. But after trying supposed Penang food at Gurney Drive in Causeway Point, I just might ask the bf if we could head there for a weekend food trip, just for a taste comparison. Well… We finally had our ‘ex colleagues and boss’ gathering at Causeway Point and chose Gurney Drive, at level 5.

Thoughts: of Canon Photomarathon X

2nd year attending Canon Photomarathon and our first time (bf and i) attending a photography event together. I felt it was more organized compared to last year, even when there was much more participants. I’m referring to registration and submission bit. Photos: of Xmas weekend

We ate, stuffed ourselves silly. We partied, drank but not till ‘merlioning’. And we laughed, with all silliness, till our sides ached. The kind of celebration I love, the warmth and sharing, with the people I care and love. Although lacking a special one, festive emoness didn’t steep in, thanks to my lovable bunch. Love you guys! o(^▽^)o And time to complete backlog posts 🙂

Random: Geylang Dinner & Durians session

Being the only few in the group who has never bought / ate / had durians in Geylang before (my first durian trip ^^), happily went ahead with the idea when colleagues suggested it couple of weeks back. And since we are heading to Geylang, how can we not have claypot spicy frog legs? =D Photos as followed: – we helped ‘butchered‘ finished 10 frogs… – decent but not fantastic and cost a bomb… $50 (after discount) for a mao shan wang durian. I’m not sure if we were being bullied by the durian seller but at least the 3 for $20 durians made the experience so much tastier and yummier. For my family, selection will always be done by…
