Photos: Sony A6000

Thanks to Sony and PR team, I just received the A6000 & 16-70mm lens review unit for a two week play 🙂 The A6000 works as good as I remembered (and last tested), at the hands on session. Especially the B&W and video mode, still makes me drool. For all the features and price, at $899 (body only) or $1,099 (w/kit lens), it’s decently priced. And for those who’d have other brands’ lens, getting an adapter will allow you guys to use your existing lenses (my friend, Uncle Tony, got his canon lenses on his new A6000) 🙂 Sample photos to be added later. Having quite the food craving now, especially when I’m stuck on liquid food for the next few days, after a minor op. Soft shell crabs, beef and foie gras don and abalone salad. Just what we had on thurs… Well, can’t wait for the stitches to dissolve and the wound to heal… And indulge in something good in the coming week with friends and family 😀

This was taken yesterday evening, along the pier at Asiatique, Bangkok. Be it sunrise or sunset, I love them both, for their significance and beauty. As a indicator for a new day and end of a day, like a constant reminder that the good in life will come and the bad will cease eventually 🙂 ***** Side note… Been observing how businesses at Asiatique, airlines and various big malls or small shop owners are suffering in visitors / income / revenue due to the unrest in certain areas and upcoming election, they still put on their best smiles and service for the remaining customers and tourists… Hopefully things will turn for the better for them soon.

Photos: from ChunkFest 2013

Just finished two rounds of ice creams at ChunkFest 2013, by Ben & Jerry SG. We tried White Russian, Milk & Cookies, Americone Dream and Candy Bar Pie. I quite like the Milk&Cookies, US flavor. More flavorful compared to other brands I’ve tried. For those who wanna try the US flavors, ChunkFest will be open till 10pm tonight. So come on down, to try them 🙂
