We were in Desaru, with fiancé’s colleagues and spent a night at Lotus Desaru Beach Resort. Having noticed sunset direction on arrival, we decided to wake up early for the sunset by the beach and followed by breakfast. After patiently waiting for half an hour, we (including others) were rewarded with a lovely sight. Gradual rising of the sun, with calming waves and gentle breeze, it was quite the relaxing spot 🙂 And the interesting bit, was the sand, which I found oddly blackish.
Gradually ease self back into momentum, for work. But chats and research for coworkers for their upcoming trips, got me itching for another trip… … all for the food, sights… and esp. relaxing sunsets, like this. Should i plan a short road trip or patiently wait for Aug??? Hmm.
This was taken yesterday evening, along the pier at Asiatique, Bangkok. Be it sunrise or sunset, I love them both, for their significance and beauty. As a indicator for a new day and end of a day, like a constant reminder that the good in life will come and the bad will cease eventually 🙂 ***** Side note… Been observing how businesses at Asiatique, airlines and various big malls or small shop owners are suffering in visitors / income / revenue due to the unrest in certain areas and upcoming election, they still put on their best smiles and service for the remaining customers and tourists… Hopefully things will turn for the better for them soon.
Came across the mini tic tacs in a photo, on friend’s Facebook wall a couple of weeks back but I didn’t asked where he got them and promptly forgotten about it. But i happened to see / end up finding it at a festive deco shop in The Verge (Along Little India) while getting some Christmas-y stuff. For 62 mini boxes of tic tacs at 20sgd, I’m glad I bought them. Not just as a Christmas gift add on but to take photos with my Lego mini figurines and eat them too 🙂
The kitty in the photo, was wheezing away and looked rather sickish, when I snapped this. Hope it is feeling better. Guess the flu virus is having its round of fun everywhere and in the office, spreading. The team has/had been sick in the past couple of weeks. Well… I’m… Still coughing and sneezing. Gah. Anyway, will try to post up tech posts for the next couple of days.
We were having our walk / run at Bishan Park earlier and the sky was lovely laced with clouds while in pink. Wonderful way to end the day, and start the evening 🙂
