Photos: Sony A6000

Thanks to Sony and PR team, I just received the A6000 & 16-70mm lens review unit for a two week play 🙂 The A6000 works as good as I remembered (and last tested), at the hands on session. Especially the B&W and video mode, still makes me drool. For all the features and price, at $899 (body only) or $1,099 (w/kit lens), it’s decently priced. And for those who’d have other brands’ lens, getting an adapter will allow you guys to use your existing lenses (my friend, Uncle Tony, got his canon lenses on his new A6000) 🙂 Sample photos to be added later. Will do so as soon as I get the chance to snap more photos and also…

Randoms: of Christmas

Christmas… Isn’t just the season for partying and gift buying… It is to celebrate the birth of Jesus and share the warmth, joy and love with people around you (the latter part is what I personally feel). To share my joy, here’s the Christmas tree that got me still grinning away like a Cheshire Cat: – Christmas tree, taken at Fujiko F Fujio museum. Photos: Tea Break at Narita Airport, Tokyo

Time to head home… It has been an interestingly fun and tiring trip, going through 2-3 cities in 10days. Will sure miss the cold weather, sights and food… Sigh. But it’s okay, will come back in couple of years time with the bf, hahah 🙂 Gonna dread the massive photos backlog. And here’s a photo while waiting to board JAL 711, bound for home / Singapore. Pasta set and Caprese on baguette: Good cafe food 🙂

Photos: HP Pocket Playlist

Requested to try HP Pocket Playlist review unit a couple of days back after seeing it on HP site. A 32GB portable entertainment gadget. Which I think is closer to a portable mini HDD connectable via Wifi. Haven’t got time to test it properly till today… Here are the stuff in the box: Main gadget, the Pocket Playlist, with the car charger, multi/switchable head AC adapter charger and its cable. You can charge it with the pc / laptop as well, using the data cable. As for transferring of files, simple. Just drag and drop into the various available folders and it’s done. The little gadget, is good for multiple mobile phones and tablets (up to 5), connecting to it…

Travel: Tenth / Last Day in Melbourne

Back in Singapore and at work, cleared a good deal of emails in one morning 🙂 Well, I’m missing Australia, its sights, food and weather already. Heh. After checking out on Saturday, we had a dessert lunch at a nearby cafe while waiting for airport shuttle. And here are the last batch of snapshots: Glad we chose Emirates for our return flight. Great service, entertainment (cleared / watched 3 movies), food and comfortable flight back… 🙂 I’m gonna make it a point to fly with Emirates next time, if the flight time is 4hrs or more and price is right.
