Thanks to the 3-man team (photographer, light assistant and stylist) from 貝思特婚纱 / Best Wedding Taichung, the full day wedding shoot for ytd went very well. Even the weather was oddly cooperative, after the sudden morning rain, near perfect weather causing slight sunburnt. But better sunburnt than soaked by rain, right? 🙂 And, here’s the sneak peek from the shoot from my iPhone 6 / Instagram: It was fun, though i think I’ll share more on the experience later once the selection process is done. And it feels good to receive congratulations and sweet comments from passerbys, even took a photo with a sweet little girl. Can’t wait to see the rest of the photos later 🙂 One thing for…
This was taken yesterday evening, along the pier at Asiatique, Bangkok. Be it sunrise or sunset, I love them both, for their significance and beauty. As a indicator for a new day and end of a day, like a constant reminder that the good in life will come and the bad will cease eventually 🙂 ***** Side note… Been observing how businesses at Asiatique, airlines and various big malls or small shop owners are suffering in visitors / income / revenue due to the unrest in certain areas and upcoming election, they still put on their best smiles and service for the remaining customers and tourists… Hopefully things will turn for the better for them soon.
I love unique confectionary or snacks. That’s why uniquely designed and flavored KitKats from Japan are a ‘must-buy’ for me. Here are 6 of them I bought in various areas, from the recent trip: Rum & Raisins, Chili, Wasabi, Green Tea, Brown Tea, Cinnamon Cookie (not in order). And a bag of Strawberry Cheesecake Kitkat with Mt Fuji box (to be posted later). I’m just missing the Green Tea Sakura flavored Kitkat, didn’t quite like the taste, so I didn’t buy it. More goodies to share, once I finish unpacking 🙂
Time to head home… It has been an interestingly fun and tiring trip, going through 2-3 cities in 10days. Will sure miss the cold weather, sights and food… Sigh. But it’s okay, will come back in couple of years time with the bf, hahah 🙂 Gonna dread the massive photos backlog. And here’s a photo while waiting to board JAL 711, bound for home / Singapore. Pasta set and Caprese on baguette: Good cafe food 🙂
Back in Singapore and at work, cleared a good deal of emails in one morning 🙂 Well, I’m missing Australia, its sights, food and weather already. Heh. After checking out on Saturday, we had a dessert lunch at a nearby cafe while waiting for airport shuttle. And here are the last batch of snapshots: Glad we chose Emirates for our return flight. Great service, entertainment (cleared / watched 3 movies), food and comfortable flight back… 🙂 I’m gonna make it a point to fly with Emirates next time, if the flight time is 4hrs or more and price is right.
Mad rush for yesterday, to get ready for apartment checkout and get to the airport, thus delayed in post updates. For Friday or ninth day, we headed downtown to Queen Victoria Market, for some yummy food and shopping. Fresh oysters, tasty hotdogs, yummy handmade nougats… 🙂 After which, more shopping at DFO at South Wharf, finding better deals there than at Harbour Town Melbourne. Yay, GAP jeans and Adidas jeans skirt! And the photos:
